EssayGrammarChecker.com collects the minimum information needed to provide the grammar checking service.
Text you submit: When you paste essay text into the checker, that text is processed in real time to generate your grammar report. We do not store essay text on our servers after the session ends. Your submitted text is never logged, retained, or linked to any identifier.
Usage data: We collect anonymous usage data through analytics — page views, session duration, and feature interactions. This data is aggregated and contains no personally identifiable information.
Account information (AI-Plus subscribers): If you subscribe to AI-Plus, we collect the email address and billing information required to process your subscription. Billing is handled through a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details.
We do not use submitted essay text for AI training purposes. Your academic work is not used to improve any language model.
Essay text is processed in memory and discarded at session end. It is never written to a database or log file.
Subscriber account data (email, billing history) is retained for the duration of the subscription and for a reasonable period afterward for billing dispute resolution, as required by law.
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 90 days after resolution of the inquiry.
